My Zaylee. Had an ultra sound today to see how big she was and we got lots of pictures of her face. She is such a cute cute baby! :) Apparently she is going to have hair. That's what the bottom picture says anyway. I am glad because there was a reason to all this heartburn that I had. I can't wait to see her.

5 WEEKS LEFT!
Time is going so slow this month! The saying is true; time goes slower and slower the closer you get to your due date. It's kind of driving me crazy how slow its going. I am glad I am working but not at the same time. Work has become harder because I am on my feet the whole time. My back kills me by the end of the day but work has kept me busier and maybe it has made time go faster. Maybe time would go even slower if I didn't have to work anymore.
I have everything pretty much ready now. I just have to pack my hospital bag which I am realizing that it is hard to do because most of everything I would bring to the hospital are things that I use everyday. Maybe I will just have to keep a list next to a suitcase and pack really quickly. The hospital I am going to is not that far away so it won't be a terrible if I forget something.
I have had a ton of appointments lately. Between my regular doctor visits and diabetic visits I have had about one appointment a week. Sometime it is two appointments a week. I am now doing nonstress tests (nst) every week because of the medication I am on. I was super nervous about the first NST test because I had no idea really what was going to happen. It was no big deal though. The nurse did an ultra sound to check the level of the amniotic fluid. The nurse put SO much gel on my belly it was weird. She only checked the amniotic fluid. It was just a minute of time. She didn't need that much gel. haha. Then she strapped me with two monitors. One was to check to see if I were having contractions and the other was to hear Zaylee's heartbeat. I didn't notice any contractions the first time but this past NST I am pretty certain I was having contractions. The Braxton Hicks kind. It was no big deal, just interesting to notice when they happened.
Hearing Zaylee's heartbeat for 20 min was so great. It is just never long enough in those regular appointments. I got a video of her heart beating but you can hardly hear it. I will post it though. With NST tests they look to see how much her hear rate increases when she moves. I was really hoping she would move a lot. She had no problem moving though. Her heart rate was good too. If there is a problem they will probably discuss inducing.
Next week I will be having another NST and regular appointment. Then I will also be having another ultra sound to see how Zaylee's growth is. This appointment will kind of determine if I will be induced early or be able to go to my due date. I am kind of hoping to be induced because that will allow a specific time for my mom to get here. We shall see what happens!
Here are some baby bump pictures. 30, 32, 33, 34 weeks. There is a comparison picture with 33 and 34 weeks because there seemed to be such a huge change!
I have been making hair barrettes for Zaylee. I made this cute holder thing for the hair barrettes as well. Let me tell you. I am SO done with making hair barrettes for the time being. That was a lot of work! I am glad I did it though.
This bassinet will go by my bed. I think is is really cute.
Its been fun to get ready for her arrival. I can't wait to see her in her clothes and push her in a stroller and to wrap her in a blanket and cuddle her and see Cody's expression of her. So EXCITED!
