Well Family,

I have been emailing you all seperatly today and I just wanted to say one this that happened this week. KATIE BOWMAN GOT BAPTIZED ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so excited. I did not think it was going to happen. I am glad it did. Everything has been going crazy this last week and a half and now she has the holy ghost. She had a marvelous experience with the holyghost yesterday. The talks in Sacrament was about the atonement. We saw her after sacrament crying. We did not know what was wrong. She said, "It hurts." I was thinking, the Holy Ghost hurts? Then she said, "the atonement hurts." Wow. She got a spiritual confirmation and the holy ghost spoke to her. She has a better understanding of the atonement and all the Jesus Christ did for us and it will continue to grow. :)

I know that this gospel is true. I know it with all of my heart. My faith has wavered a bit this week, I confess, because of the unfortunate events that have been going on. But then I thought that was silly. God can do everything. We need to ask. What we ask for may not happen right then and there but it will happen. I know when we have the faith, no matter how hard the situation, God will not let us alone. He is always there. Always. I love you with all of my heart. This is a big growing experience for me and I love it. Have a great week. Amanda
