One month to Two months

Such a bundle of joy she brings to our little apartment. For her first month it has been fun holding and holding and holding her. She got pretty spoiled with all the holding. That's okay though. She is just a baby. Night time feedings were the hardest part for me. Having to get up and nurse her and falling asleep uncomfortably while nursing her bc I couldn't keep my eyes open! Many nights I fell asleep on the couch because she would also stay awake for hours at a time during the night. I made sure she was safe in my arms while I slept on the couch. It all seems like a blur.

She wasn't gaining the weight that the doctor thought she should have so we went in for weekly weight checks. I eventually got her on a schedule of drinking my milk and then supplementing her with formula. She gained much better that way!

Zaylee was getting baby acne on her face and the thing that worked was putting breast milk on it. It seemed weird to do at first but it's all cleared up now!

Some of my friend's put stuffed animals next to their baby in pictures so you can see how much they have grown. I liked that idea so I chose a really cute elephant that was given to Zaylee. When she was born she was the exact size of that elephant. It was crazy to see her a few inches bigger than the elephant at her one month pictures.

What a cute sleeping face.

Finger licking good!

We got this outfit from one of my aunts. Isn't it so cute?!? My Mother in Law collects watermelons so it is the perfect outfit for her liking. :)

We were at the grocery store and Zaylee's eyes were so big! I guess all those lights were amazing to her.

This is the first sunday we went back to church. I saw this outfit at Walmart and I loved it. I was so close to buying it but I am glad I didn't. Tori got Zaylee a gift and sent it and it was the same dress I was going to get. It was like she knew!

We went to Arizona before I went back to work and my dad and brother finally got to meet Zaylee. It was fun to see them hold her for the first time. Jaden isn't a baby person but he was a good sport and held Zaylee for a little bit.

Cute picture of daddy and daughter chilling in Arizona. LOVE!

These pajamas are so cute. Zaylee was being fussy in the next picture because she was tired but she is still a cutie.

Sometimes my hands get so sweaty when I am feeding her and her hair get into a matted, wet mess!

One thing we have unfortunately had to deal with is bed bugs! I have no idea how we got them but I don't like it one bit. When we found out and got things sprayed down by the bug guy, we took practically every piece of clothing we owned and went to the laundromat to wash everything. Heat kills the pesky things so don't worry about getting them at a laundromat. We used high heat washing and high heat drying to make sure they were off our clothes. The washing part and drying part was the easy thing to do. The FOLDING was a chore! It probably took me an hour and a half of constant folding to fold everything! It was not my favorite thing to do. Good thing my husband was a good sport and helped me with it all.

My Aunt Norma took me and Zaylee to the tulip festival in Lehi, UT. I loved it. I was not able to stay long enough to see everything but the things I saw (tulips) I loved. I don't think you can get tired of tulips. The greatest challenge of the trip was pushing my grandma is the wheelchair. Going down the path was easy. Going back up was a different story. i got my workout for sure! The two dollar water bottle was the best money ever spent. I don't know why they don't have water fountains around. If you go make sure you have water with ya!
