Life in Limbo

Coming home from a mission was really fun. I was able to see all my family once again. We were all together and I didn't have to wait for the weekly letter from all of them. I have been getting jokes from some people that I need to write a letter to my family so it can be sent out to everyone because they want to know what is going on in my life. My sister has been great at putting my letters home on the blog to let you all know about my mission life. Now it is up to me to start writing on the blog. I am afraid to say that it might not be as consistant as it was. Sorry. :)

I have been home for about 4 weeks now. Time is moving so super fast. In that 4 weeks have been trying to figure out what I am going to do with my future life. You know, get a job and go to school. What job and what school I was going to get and go to was a hard decision. I have decided, upon much disliking of my family, that I will be moving to Utah. I will be getting a job there and going to UVU in the fall or spring. I am excited for this. It will be a different adventure and I am not sure what to do when I get there but if there is one thing I learned on my mission, it is that God has a plan for us and we just need to follow our promptings. When we do what the Lord wants us to do then we are all set to go.

Amongst trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my future life, I have been doing random things around the house. This past week there was a project that needed to be done. The bathroom that all of us kids share needed to be repainted. It was painted and decorated in red, white and blue. It was a cute bathroom but it was time for a change. Mom and I did it. We repainted the bathroom. It is a very cute bathroom now. I don't have a picture of it yet because it is not quite all the way finished. It was quite a task to do though. Part of it I stripped the cauking from the tub to replace that because it was getting all moldy. There was a wall that had a pretty big hole so I learned how to drywall this week. It is quite the process and very messy. I am greatful for my mom who knows how to do things like this so that I can learn how to do them. It will be very beneficial to know how to do it in the future I believe. So now there is no hole and you can't even tell there was a hole in the first place.
