September 26, 2011

So pretty much my memory is going way bad and I really cannot think of what happened this week except for the weekend. The weekend was way super good. It is time for transfers again. Saturday was the start of the good weekend. we were tying to stay busy in the morning time and we were trying to think of some things to do. We went to a referals home to deliver a thing they ordered but they were not home. Then we did a couple other things, had lunch, and went to the nursing home to visit some people. We stopped by on our way home to a store to get some fudge because we wanted some. During this whole thing, we were waiting for transfer news. While in the store we got the call. The whole week I had a feeling that I was going to be training and Sister Waite would be leaving. Sister Waite thought that nothing would change. Well, we got the fudge and answered the phone and we heard the news. I am training and Sister Waite is leaving. I was not as shocked as Sister Waite was. She was very surprised and not happy. She started crying. She even accused the district leader to be messing with her. It was strange because usually if you train, you get a call from the mission president. Well, I didn't. So it was strange. We went to the Relief Society broadcast and it was super super good. I loved everything about it. President Uchtdorf's talk was very very very very good. It touched my heart and if you have not heard it, you better read it when it come out. :) Sister Mikami and Sister Ash are staying in the district so I will be able to see them. The next morning I got a call from President Woodbury and he said that I was training. So it was official. I am glad to be training. I don't mind it. We went to church and everyone was sad that sister waite was leaving. We had a lot to do that day. We visited people like crazy. We had a good lesson with Jane. Jane is doing so well and is still striving to make her life the best it can be. We went to a mission home fireside with a recent convert named Tina. It went well. There was a family who was asked to speak about their conversion story and it was very inspiring. President Woodbury talked to Sister Waite about transfers and it was very surprising. She is being sent back to Tell City, Indiana (my first area and her first area). It is kind of weird for her to do that. This will be her first and third area. :) I kind of feel bad for her because it is another hard area. But she is being sent for a reason. She will be companions with Sister Goodman which will be interesting as well. I am going to be praying hard for both of them. :) So that was pretty much the whole weekend. One morning this week we went running in the rain. I loved doing it. Sister Waite didn't as much. It just brings back so many memories. One of running with Tori in the rain, and another of the last soccer game I had in the rain. I guess it was not the smartest idea in the world though because now I am getting a cold. Hopefully it will not get too bad. We have a ton of stuff to do today so I am going to go. We are going to make cookies today for people and going out to lunch with a member and visiting alot of members. It is going to be pretty crazy. I hope we get everything done today that we need to. Wish us luck. I love you all. Love Sister Amanda Rose 'Princess' Ralph. :)
